Arts Commission

The Scotts Valley Arts Commission was established to advise City Council on policies which enhance the aesthetic and cultural quality of life in the City of Scotts Valley. Appointed by the City Council, commissioners are volunteers who share a strong commitment to the arts.

Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 5:00pm, in the City Hall Conference Room.

Mission Statement

Art is a natural everyday part of life. We draw upon many forms of art to express ourselves, and to benefit from the expressions of others. Art helps us to achieve better self-awareness, develop critical thinking skills and communicate across cultural and generational diversities.
